American Literature and Composition 11th Grade
The major purpose of this course is to provide a balanced language arts experience centered on the understanding of recurrent themes and genres in United States literature from earliest times to the present and reflecting on the diversity of American life. This is the basic American Literature/Composition course. This course meets one semester of the basic eleventh-grade English requirement for graduation and fulfills the “b” requirement of the UC/CSU Subject Area Requirements.
